Story: In Skylanders: Swap Force, Portal Masters embark on an all-new adventure in the mysterious Cloudbreak Islands, home to a mystical volcano that erupts every hundred years to replenish the magic in Skylands. During an epic battle, a brave group of Skylanders were caught in the volcano's eruption, which blasted them apart and sent them to Earth. But, the magic of the volcano gave these heroes a remarkable new power - the ability to swap halves - turning them into a special team known as the Swap Force.
Meanwhile, Kaos is back with a new evil plan. And now, Portal Masters everywhere must reassemble the Swap Force - in their original form or in new combinations - and send them back to Cloudbreak to save Skylands!
This time around, Toys for Bob will not develop the console versions of the game. Vicarious Visions will develop the Wii U, PS3, and Xbox 360 versions. N-Space the developer of Skylanders Giants 3DS will resume making the 3DS game. And Beenox( main developer of Spider-Man video games) will develop the Wii port. The game will not include a Portal owner pack because there is a new portal due to additional technology needed for the Swap force Skylanders. These Skylanders can switch body parts to gain a sort of hybrid like power.
Starter Pack includes: Two Swap force characters and a series 3 Skylander( no it's not Stealth Elf. People on Dark Spyro are jumping to conclusions and/or hate her because she gets a series 3.)
In my opinion, these are some interesting concepts and graphics look similar to cutscenes in Giants. I'll probably get the game during Christmas or sometime after it comes out( hey I bought Spyro's Adventure and Giants on day one. Missing one game won't hurt.) Whenever I get the game, I'll do a walkthrough on the Xbox 360 version due to the fact the Wii will probably be discontinued anyway.
